dltphoto: September 2010, "Photo a day"

Here are the month of Septembers... Once again a little late! Seems that work and such takes over far to often! Anyways... this month was shot entirely with a Lensbaby (samples done well)and on the Nikon F100. The Lensbaby is very challenging as you need to be ready to snap it the moment you get the shot in focus! Fun to play with but a look you can easily tire of.

August 2010, "Photo a Day"

Here are my August Epics!!! I was using only One lens this month... the 50mm! This lens is the closest equivelant to what the human eyes sees. clearly we have wider view but the lens replicates what I would see through the camera as being exactly the same distance as the object in front of me. so no wild zoom rate etc... hope that makes sense!!

July 2010, "Photo a day"

Sadly, Due to travelling to the UK etc and starting my new Job I decided that July would be to terribly hard for me to continue with my project so I am just going to upload a few of the shots I managed to get off during this month. I did my best to take a shot a day but I wasnt always able to have a film camera to hand so some of these, actually most of them are of a digital format...... the limitations for travelling with kids meant less cameras and more kids stuff!!

June 2010, "photo a day"

Sorry for the lateness of this months images. I misplaced the darn camera for a little while so when I finally found it I could complete the month!!!

Anyways.... About this months images.... I used a mint condition Agfa Isolette I Camera that a Customer of Lens & Shutter donated to me as he wanted it to goto a good home where it might get used, sadly he figured if he gave it to his kids they would simply throw it out. So I tested it out and it seemed to work OK at the start, Then I ran into a small issue with it but quickly figured out that and got on with it!!!!
So here are the images, some shot in black and white and some shot with Cross-Process. Alas I wanted to do a roll of colour, B&W and X-pro but I ran out of Colour rolls and my day didn't allow for picking up a colour one.... Oh well! Oh its uses 120 Film ( Medium Format) in-case some people aren't aware!

May 2010, "Photo a Day"

Here are my May images a little later than normal for which I apologize!!!My busy month wouldn't allow me any time.  It was suggested to me to put a reason behind each image to help understand why I took that particular shot, but I have decided that there's often more intrigue if you guys have no idea why I did what I did, plus also I cant remember some of the shots!!!! ;-p

April 2010, "Photo a Day"

So I finally got around to posting my images for the Month of April. This month is was using my Nikon F3HP. Quite the unit and mostly I was using full manual Primes such as the 24mm 2.8 and the 50mm 1.8. I once again went with Fuji 800 iso due the the failing light conditions at this time of year. I managed to get a few winners but I am also considering adding a brief comment as to why I have taken the images I have taken. To me they meant something at that time but to you you dont know the situation I was in etc.. but then I consider that you guys not knowing can make a image more intriguing!!!!

March 2010 ( Photo A Day)

Here are my March Moments. I decided after the spectacular weather we had in February, I would try a slower film for this months efforts in a Kodak Ektar 100iso. I was using my ever faithful Nikon F5 and a variety of lens's such as the 28mm 2.8, 50mm 1.8, 85mm 1.8, 60mm 2.8 and the 70-200 2.8VR. Despite the dismal days  I managed a few decent shots....Looking forward to April's efforts with my Nikon F3, nicknamed "The Tank". Anyone who holds it will understand why!!!

Photo a Day: February 2010

So here is my first month of this long project! As I suggested in my previous entry that I am using Film and I have one shot only per day. The first month, which I was expecting a doomy gloomy February, ended up being fabulously spectactular in weather so my critical choice of film was completely wrong.. nevermind!! So I eneded up shooting a Roll of Fujipress 800 and for the first month I used my wonderful F100 with varying lens's. Here are the pics below. February 1st being first image with February 28th being the last one!
