June 2010, "photo a day"

Sorry for the lateness of this months images. I misplaced the darn camera for a little while so when I finally found it I could complete the month!!!

Anyways.... About this months images.... I used a mint condition Agfa Isolette I Camera that a Customer of Lens & Shutter donated to me as he wanted it to goto a good home where it might get used, sadly he figured if he gave it to his kids they would simply throw it out. So I tested it out and it seemed to work OK at the start, Then I ran into a small issue with it but quickly figured out that and got on with it!!!!
So here are the images, some shot in black and white and some shot with Cross-Process. Alas I wanted to do a roll of colour, B&W and X-pro but I ran out of Colour rolls and my day didn't allow for picking up a colour one.... Oh well! Oh its uses 120 Film ( Medium Format) in-case some people aren't aware!

Tricky with that Old Focus System

My Favourite Shot! It looks like a perfectly "Actioned" edited Digital Image that simulates a Sepia Film look and I nailed it without any editing or Digital Camera!!!!!! Complete Fluke mind you... Cross-Process can be random sometimes... I imagine my exposure was bad hence the weird tinting.. but I'll take whatever I can get.. Educated Guessing!
D'oh!... Unexplainable!

Boring Tree Scene... My mind was on my upcoming UK Trip!
Nice Light!!!!
So I put my mindset with these shots more about how people used to take pics. Very Classic. Very Straight.People always stood straight and posed. I bet film and prints were expensive back in those days. A wasted shot was a costly shot..... so there they are... did the best I could. Gonna try and fix it so its not some random and maybe I will use it again soon..... I quite enjoyed that fully manual fun!!!!
